Fridays for Future - Global Strike for Climate Change - Slow Food International

#FridaysforFuture is a youth led organisation for global climate strike movements pushing for immediate action on the climate crisis. The organisation was started in August 2018 by Greta Thunberg.

The movement was created to encourage young people all over the world to join in and be a part of the future of our climate and planet.

Luisa-Marie Neubauer is a Climate Activist from Germany. She is one of the main organisers of Fridays for Future which has an alternative name; the school strike for climate movement in Germany.

This movement hopes that global leaders can be influenced to act sooner in order to reduce carbon emissions and prevent the increase of global temperatures above 1.5ºC.
